Dear students,

Pick one aleatory box and practice your speaking skills for 1 minute and 30 seconds!

Record yourself talking about one of the topics and share it with us in the comments! Remember to send it to your teacher too, and this way you can play it in your classroom 😊.

For recording and sharing, use: https://vocaroo.com/

4. Click on pause when you already have 1 minute and 30 seconds (don't worry if you have 01:29 or 1:32... That's not the most important, but try not to exceed the set time).

⭐ SUGGESTION GAME TO DO IN YOUR CLASSROOM: You can play one aleatory audio without telling them the speaker, and they have to guess who's talking 😉.

    Dear Sara García
I liked how you introduce the listening exercise to your learners. It is really cool that they can choose what they want to speak about and it is by chance.
When they record themselves there are a lot of skills that they are developing. For me the most important skill is that they learn to overcome shyness.
    I loved your ideas!
    Greetings

    1. Hello Carlota! I totally agree with you! Sometimes, there are some students that don't show all their speaking skills because of their shyness, and in this way they can practice becoming more confident :) Thanks for your comments <3

  2. Hello Sara!
I think it's a very good listening activity. Original and fun to do in class. It is also very detailed so that students can be autonomous. They do have to be students with a good level of English to be able to do the activity.
It is very interesting that the students know what they will be tested on so that they can pay more attention to it.

    1. Hi Anna! Most of my students have a good level of English :) However, with this activity, for the students who aren't confident or have a worse level, they can practice as many times as they want (since this is the format we use in our classes) and improve their speech skills! Thanks for your opinion <3
